Tiger Times

March 2026

Welcome to this month’s Wrightstown Elementary School Newsletter!

As we move into March, we begin to see signs of spring and a renewed sense of energy in our classrooms. We continue to have a strong focus on academic growth as students continue building skills, setting goals, and preparing for upcoming state and district assessments. We are incredibly proud of the perseverance, responsibility, and positive attitudes our students demonstrate.

March is also Reading Month, and we look forward to celebrating the joy and importance of reading throughout our school. Students will participate in special reading activities, classroom challenges, and engaging literacy experiences designed to foster a lifelong love of books. We encourage families to celebrate reading at home by setting aside time to read together and helping your child discover books that spark their interest. Developing a love of reading is one of the greatest gifts we can give our children!

Thank you for your continued partnership in supporting homework routines, consistent attendance, and open communication with teachers. Your involvement truly makes a difference.
We are grateful for the trust you place in us and appreciate the important role you play in your child’s success. Thank you for being a valued part of our Wrightstown Elementary community.

Warm regards,
Jennifer Eichmeier
Elementary Principal

If you have not yet completed the Summer School Participation Form in Skyward, please do so as soon as possible. This step is required in order to register your child for Summer School.
On March 19, registration will open for families who have completed the participation form.
This year, we will be using Skyward Arena Scheduling for parents to select classes. Class selection will open on April 8 at 8:00 AM. Please note that classes are filled on a first-come, first-served basis, so we encourage you to schedule early.
Both the participation form and registration steps must be completed before you will be able to select classes.
Please reach out to the elementary office if you have any questions regarding summer school.

Forward Testing for 3rd and 4th Grade

Our 3rd and 4th graders will be taking the Wisconsin Forward Exam in March and April. 3rd grade will test from 3/31-4/9. 4th grade will test from 4/8-4/16. The tests are important and they are one of many ways that we assess the progress of our students. We encourage parents to make sure your child is well rested on these days.
