Tiger Times

April 2026

Welcome to this month’s Wrightstown Elementary School Newsletter!

I hope this message finds you well and that you were able to enjoy some time together over spring break! It has been wonderful welcoming students back and seeing their energy as we head into the final stretch of the school year!

April is a busy and exciting time in our building. What month isn't busy in an elementary school? Classrooms are continuing to focus on strong instruction, building independence, and maintaining routines as we move into spring. This is also the time of year when we begin state testing.

Thank you for your continued support, communication, and partnership. We are proud of the growth our students are making both academically and socially. As always, please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions.

Wishing you a wonderful April, free of SNOW!!!

Think Spring,

Spring Behavior and Expectations

With warmer weather comes extra energy! We will continue to reinforce school expectations in all areas, including the classroom, playground, and lunchroom. Consistency at school and home helps students stay focused and successful.

Recess and Weather

We will be going outside as much as possible. Please continue to send your child with appropriate clothing for changing weather conditions.

Forward Testing for 3rd and 4th Grade

Our 3rd & 4th grade students will continue participating in the Forward Exam this month. These assessments provide valuable information about student progress and help guide our instruction. You can support your child by ensuring they get a good night’s sleep, eat breakfast, and arrive at school on time. We appreciate your partnership in helping students do their best.

Looking Ahead

We are beginning early planning for next school year, including class placements and transitions. Our goal is to create balanced classrooms that best support all learners. More information will be shared in the coming weeks.

Summer School Registration Reminder

If you have not yet completed the Summer School Participation Form in Skyward, please reach out to the elementary office to have your student added to summer school. This step is required in order to register your child for Summer School.

Registration is now open for families who have completed the participation form.

This year, we will be using Skyward Arena Scheduling for parents to select classes. Class selection will open on April 8 at 8:00 AM. Please note that classes are filled on a first-come, first-served basis, so we encourage you to schedule early.

Both the participation form and registration steps must be completed before you will be able to select classes.
Please reach out to the elementary office if you have any questions regarding summer school.

WES Parent Network BINGO Night

Enjoy a night of family fun and snacks and prizes on Thursday, April 16 from 5-6pm in the WES cafeteria.
